Interns

Dancentre’s interns are selected from among our best dancers. In addition to advanced summer workshops, they attend teacher training in which they learn classroom management skills & lesson planning. They assist senior faculty members and are given the opportunity to set choreography. Candidates for our intern program must demonstrate advanced dance technique, maturity, dependability, creativity, and a positive rapport with our younger students. They serve as role models and must take this responsibility seriously.
